The Student Wellness Centre in partnership with the Athletics Department is offering a new program to students. This initiative provides an opportunity for students to improve their mental health and wellbeing through exercise or a recreational activity. This can be an alternative or adjunct to care they are receiving through the Wellness Centre.
Students who are using services at the Student Wellness Centre and are experiencing anxiety or depression and are currently not engaged in recreational activity or exercise can be referred through their counsellor or physician/mental health nurse.
As part of this program we are always looking for volunteers who have a passion for physical activity and want to help others make a difference. If you would like to volunteer with the program fill out the application form
